A relay

When I worked at home, one of my friends mailed me "Can you watch TV now? Mr.Matsumoto is coming now!"

I turned on TV at once.

The TV program titled 「わたしが子どもだったころ」 "when I was a child" in English.

Mr. Matsumoto, his stage name is "Tortoise Matsumoto", is one of famous singers in Japan. He is a band member named ULFULS.I like him very much!

I wrote on my blog about ULFULS.

As soon as checking him on TV, I mailed another friend "Can you watch TV now? Mr.Matsumoto is coming now."

It was a kind of relay by ladies who loved him.

At the end of the TV program, he sang this song 「笑えれば」 "If I laugh anyway"in English.

lyrics in English
--------------------
If I laugh anyway
If I laugh finally
I feel miserable on my way home
I wanna laugh "Haha"
--------------------

You may think it's nervous, but this song encourages me very much.

Online shopping

I often purchase some goods online. For example, books, DVDs, mineral water, carrots, envelopes, stationery, toilet paper, artist's ticket, train chiket, detergent, soap, PC, bookshelf, ...many merchandises.

The reason I buy them online is
1. Something is heavy.
2. I don't have a car. So if I buy something big at a store, I can't take it out.
3. Something is nothing near my home.
4. I have something stuck in mind, parthicular foods. I want to take organic farm products.
5. I am short(height). Cloths which is sold at department store are almost normal size.
6. I like online shopping. ;D

Now, online shopping is necessary for my life.

How to study language

As studying English, I have read many books about how to study English.
Authors are English teacher, scholer, a person who got high score of TOEIC(English examination) ,
people who can speak many language, for example Schliemann.

So I think the best way of master language is studying about one's interest, and studying everyday steady. It's a simple way.

Slump

I have felt kind of stuck in my studies of English. As hearing news for example CNN, ABC, I can't understand well. As reading novels and newspapers and English website, I can't know what to say about them. Maybe I became stale for studying English. I'd like to find a pleasure of learning.

Changing the subject, about "slump", I love this manga.;D
Dr. Slump, Volume 1 (Dr. Slump)
Akira Toriyama

Arale is very strong (because she is a perfect robot) and pure , pretty.
She and all of character are quite strange. It's very funny story.

↑I remember the first time of this anime when I was a child about 20 years ago. It was my most favorite anime at that time.

It is a mexican version.

NHK Radio News and TV

Recently, I hardly have seen the TV.
Because I devote to work and study something.
(And I'm not interested in TV programs currently, although I watched much time before.)

However, I want to know Japan and the world news.
As listening and seeing English news podcast and website everyday, I can't understand all.

So, I listen this NHK radio news in Japanese.

http://www.nhk.or.jp/r-news/

We can select a speed of speaking. I used to select 'fast' mode.

After listening the news in Japanese, I can understand English news better.

And if you see Japanese TV program on air, you use this service 'KeyHoleTV'.

By this service, TV will be unnecessary for me. ??

Be helpful

My sister had a fever tonight.
About a couple weeks ago, she had a fever. Why did she??
Although I felt depressed and was lazy(but better than "Nodame"), when my sister is sick, I become strong and cooking speedily.

I thought that helping to someone makes me strong.

And, I found a phrase "There is nothing dearer than health."

Be honest and charming

Cullently, I feel depressed slightly. I have to change my life(where I will live etc.) in near future by some reasons. But I don't image and decide my future life plan. I want to be positive and feel so good.

In a sense, studying English is a good method for me. Because I hardly know negative meaning words, I can't think negative things and situation. ahaha;D After this, I'm going to watch favorite Japanese manga "Nodame Cantabile" in English.

Nodame Cantabile 1 (Nodame Cantabile)
Tomoko Ninomiya
0345481720

This story is about a girl nicknamed "Nodame" who is a grate piano player in University of music. But she is very strange. Her room is very dirty. She makes some funny songs and dance, and so on.

She is a honest and charming girl. Reading this manga, I feel so nice and want to be like her.

This manga became to be very popular, then it became TV anime and drama.

Examination, Digression

I'm going to take a several certifying examinations on this month and next month,
I study hard everyday. And I'm busy for work. Although I'm busy, I'm in good health. Because I sleep well everynight. About "Doraemon", one of the most popular manga(anime) in Japan, Nobita who is main cast used to sleep on 3 seconds later, I sleep on 1 second. :D

Doraemon (Tentomusi comics)
Fujio Fujiko

I'm surprised there are many goods of this anime except for comic and DVD.

Doraemon Shower Cap
B000O5LT24

I have't seen a person who wears it yet. Is it a stylish item?

Getting back today's topic,
now I'm studying English mainly lisnening and writing, English accounting, filing and record management, and how to neat and tidy houserooms.

TOEIC is the nearest examination for me. I will take it after 10 days.

About filing and record management, I will take two certifying examination after about 1 month.
I took trial test of one today, the score is 39% correct. A passing grade is 70%...Must I study endlessly?

But I'm enjoying all of studies. I'm interested in all, and it's fun to get new knowledge and possibility. I feel that I broaden my horizens, particularly learning English.

MAP, About Hometown

About the previous blog, this is a map I painted.
The distance of Tokyo and Toyama where I was born is about 400km, =250miles.

I wrote about my hometown last month. blog title:Go back hometown

This is a festival poster at my hometown, Takaoka city, Toyama Prefecture.
It holds on May 1 every year.

Some big decorated old cars(this picture) go on a main street of Takaoka. One of famous Samurais, Toyotomi Hideyoshi gave them to Maeda Samurai who gaverend there about 400 years ago.

There is many food stands called "yatai" there. Many children and parents are enjoyable. And for teenager, it is a good date place.

I also remember the date there... Nothing!

When I was a high school student, I went to this festival with many school mates. It's good memory.

Earthquake

Some time ago, it was a big earthquake! I was ready to sleep, but I surprised, and can't sleep.
Many earthquakes have come in Japan, in particullaly Tokyo and near Tokyo where I live now.
When I was a child, I lived in Toyama prefecture, the countryside of Japan, where little earthquake.
I'm afraid of it. When it occurs, I always wish "stop it, no more it.", but after that, it often happens. Where did my wish reach?

Humour of Buddha

Recently, I'm interested in Buddhism, study Buddhism.
I took a lecture of Theravada Buddhism last week.

*About Theravada Buddhism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theravada

The title of the lecture is "how to activate humour from Buddha". It is probably said nobody has taken this theme ever. The teacher is Ven.Sumanasara, the master of Gotami Vihara, A temple, Nihon Theravada Center.

Ven.Sumanasara tauget us,
a humour is not useless if it helps to solve or dissapear some problems and to reduce pains.

And he tauget a importance of humour from Buddha's episode.

If we have happy and calm mind, everything will be alright.

If we respect other's pride and dignity, we will live with smile no matter what happens.

Today's picture is Yoyogi park near the lecture hall.
I took a walk before the lecture. I'm very fond of the park.
